Chip Timing
Transfer Solver only - Tests different chip usage strategies by comparing the evaluation scores of various chip combinations across your planning horizon.
Warning
This is a computationally heavy process. Not recommended on mobile devices, though technically possible.
#
How It Works
The solver creates possible chip combinations based on your selections, then evaluates each plan using literal settings to enable fair comparison:
- Time Decay = 1.01 (removes uncertainty discounting)
- FT Value, Bank Value, Future Info Value etc. = 0 (removes abstractions)
- Transfer Depth = maximized (allows full planning horizon)
Each possible chip plan is solved and ranked by evaluation score.

Chip Options
For each chip type, specify which gameweeks to consider:
WC Options: Gameweeks to test Wildcard usage
FH Options: Gameweeks to test Free Hit usage
BB Options: Gameweeks to test Bench Boost usage
TC Options: Gameweeks to test Triple Captain usage
AM Options: Gameweeks to test Assistant Manager usage
Examples:
GW20
= Test chip in GW20 onlyGW18, GW19, GW20
= Test chip in any of these weeksUnused
= Don't use this chip in any plansUnused, GW20
= Either use the chip in GW20 or not at all
Total Combinations: Shows how many feasible chip plans have been generated based on your inputs (e.g., "47 Valid Chip Combinations")
#
Output
Ranked Results: Plans ordered by evaluation score, showing:
- Which chips were used and when
- Total evaluation score for comparison
#
Practical Examples
Single chip timing: Set WC Options: Unused, GW10, GW11, GW12
to compare wildcard value across these options, including whether using the chip at all provides sufficient value.
Multi-chip strategies: Ideal for handling complex periods with large volumes of plausible combinations of chips across a number of weeks
Warning
Comparisons are only valid within your projection horizon. Consider factors beyond the planning period when making final decisions.
