# XI Selection

The XI Selection shows your team in a pitch view with your starting XI and bench players. You can manually adjust the lineup or use the automatic selection.

# Auto-Selection

The tool automatically selects your XI that maximises projected points:

Chooses the highest-scoring formation and players
Sets captain, vice-captain and bench order
Acts as a starting point you can then customise

Note

On occasion you may see a player with lower EV than alternatives auto-selected to start/to be captain. This is likely due to reduced availability/fixture likelihood, which enables greater auto-sub/vice-captain contribution.

# Manual Adjustments

Drag & Drop: Move players between the pitch and bench by dragging their shirt/avatar. Formation updates automatically.

Captaincy: Drag the golden captain icon on any player to make them captain.

Bench Order: Drag bench players left or right to set substitution priority. Leftmost player is first substitute.

Tip

You can revert to automated selection, by clicking on Auto/Manual toggle, located just above the pitch view
