# Sync Team

The Sync Team feature updates the planner with your current FPL team data, including any transfers made since the last deadline.

# Why Sync?

By default, the planner loads your team selection from the last GW deadline. If you've made transfers or changes since then, they won't appear until you sync, as that information is not publicly available - otherwise everyone could see your team.

This is important when early transfers involve players who changed price, to ensure the toolset has the most accurate information available.

If you have not made any transfers, there is no reason to sync - price changes are already automatically calculated by the tool.

# How to Sync

1. Click "Sync Live Team" to open the sync dialog
2. Click "Step 1: Get Data" to open your FPL data (you must be logged into FPL)
3. Copy all the text from the data page
4. Paste into the text box
5. Click "Step 2: Confirm"

Your team updates immediately to match your live FPL squad.
